Marx Brothers - Monkey Business, Part One

November 13, 2008, admin

I’m aiming to link to the whole of the Marx Brothers classic, Monkey Business (1931). Has it worn well? Partly. Some of the wisecracking, and certainly the musical interludes, haven’t improved with age, but there are some great anarchic scenes in it, too.

In Part One, the brothers are stowing away on a cruise liner. As they immediately show, they are not conducive to a calm atmosphere on board.
